Tarragon Compound Butter

Ingredients
Butter x 1 stick, softened to room temperature
Tarragon x 1/4 cup, minced
Garlic x 1 clove, minced
Lemon zest x ½ tsp
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Recipe
Combine butter, tarragon, garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper in the bowl of a food processor. Process for 60–90 seconds, scraping down the sides occasionally, until fully incorporated and smooth.
Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on a cutting board and spoon the compound butter in the center.
Roll the butter into a tight cylinder, twisting the ends of the plastic wrap to seal.
Store in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
