Orange Glazed Chicken Wings
Sticky, citrusy, and crisped to perfection — these wings get their crunch from the air fryer and their flavor from a slow-simmered orange reduction. No deep fry, no mess, just pure glazed heat.
Ingredients
Chicken wings x 6
Garlic powder x 1 tsp
Onion powder x 1 tsp
Kosher salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Orange juice x ½ cup, reduced
Chicken stock x ¼ cup, reduced
Orange zest x 1 tsp, fresh
Scallions x 2, thinly sliced (for garnish)
Recipe
Make the Glaze
In a small saucepan, simmer orange juice and chicken stock over medium heat until reduced by half.
Stir in fresh orange zest and set aside.
Cook the Wings
Pat wings dry with paper towels.
Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
Add wings in a single layer. Cook for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
Glaze and Finish
With 5 minutes left, brush wings with orange glaze.
Cook until crisp and glossy.
Plate wings and drizzle with remaining glaze.
Garnish with thin-sliced scallions.
To Plate
Serve hot with dipping sauces on the side.
Add celery sticks or fries to make it a meal.
Pair with crisp beer or citrus soda for contrast.
