Avocado Toast w/ Whipped Ricotta & Habanero Chili Jam
Creamy avocado, whipped ricotta, and a sweet-heat punch from habanero jam… this one hits every note.

Avocado x 1
Sourdough bread x 1–2 slices
Habanero jam x 1–2 tbsp
Ricotta x 1/3 cup
Kosher salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Lemon juice to taste
Flaky salt to taste
Olive oil x for toasting

Toast Assembly
Heat a medium cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add sliced sourdough with a drizzle of olive oil and toast on both sides until golden and crisp.
While bread toasts, split avocado and mash in a prep bowl. Season with kosher salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
Once bread is ready, spread a generous layer of mashed avocado, then add a dollop of ricotta.
Drizzle habanero jam over the top, finish with flaky salt, and serve immediately.
To Plate
Serve open-faced with extra jam on the side if desired. Perfect alongside a crisp salad or soft scrambled eggs.
